Every time I go back to Australia I stock up on this stuff – along with lots of Australian chocolate goodies, yum Tim Tams. This ointment has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. While it has a wide range of uses and benefits, I just love to put it on my lips. It’s also great for sunburn, not that I worry about that too much in Seattle.
The Australian surf can be pretty salty, depending on where you go. Spending hours in the water is loads of fun, but chafing from the sea salt can be very painful. This stuff is great for preventing chafing in this situation.
It can be used for:
- Minor burns and scalds
- Sunburn – This stuff works like magic to rehydrate a sun-burnt shoulder
- Gravel Rash, cuts and Minor Open Wounds
- Nappy Rash and Chafing
- Insect Bites
- Splinters and Thorns
